Seniors Strategy

"Our senior citizens have made valuable contributions to our society and deserve to age with dignity and respect. However, many seniors are facing challenges such as inadequate retirement savings, lack of access to affordable healthcare and affordable housing, and limited opportunities for social engagement. Our administration will implement a comprehensive strategy to support our senior citizens and ensure that they have the resources they need to live a comfortable and fulfilling life in their golden years. This strategy will include measures such as strengthening Social Security and Medicare, increasing funding for programs that promote healthy aging, expanding access to affordable housing, and investing in transportation and technology solutions to help seniors stay connected and engaged with their communities. We will also work to address the issue of elder abuse and neglect, and to make sure that seniors receive the care and support they need. By addressing these issues, we can ensure that our senior citizens are able to live with independence, dignity and grace."
